The Outstanding Man was founded by Larry Bobo in 2012 with a mission with renewed purpose.
Drawing from his own life experiences—particularly his failures—Larry is committed not only to sharing his journey but to walking alongside others who are ready to grow, heal, and thrive. He believes in transforming lessons from personal mistakes into practical guidance for others seeking change.
Through workshops, seminars, speaking engagements, books, and partnerships with licensed therapists, counselors, pastors, and motivational leaders, The Outstanding Man is creating a space for transformational growth.
Larry’s original goal remains central: to reduce the divorce rate from nearly 50% to under 5%. While national trends show a decline in divorce rates due in part to cultural shifts, Larry believes targeted education, empowerment, and support can drive even greater change—especially in underserved communities.
In addition to relational support, the organization is dedicated to serving the homeless and underserved populations in Atlanta and across the US. Inspired by biblical teachings that remind us “the poor will always be with us,” The Outstanding Man strives to meet urgent physical needs as an expression of compassion and faith.
